  • Secrets aren’t saved by default. Want to keep them handy? Turn on encrypted storage in history settings.
  • Hide sensitive text yourself and it will be stored encrypted, too.
  • History isn’t recorded while your Mac is locked or asleep.
  • Pause recording. Delete what you don’t need. Set your limits.

Buffera recognizes a secret when the app you copied from marks it as confidential. Without that mark, a password may enter your regular history. Regular items are stored without encryption.

First launch
